This Philips Hue outdoor light is specially designed for use in humid outdoor environments and has been rigorously tested to ensure its performance. The IP level consists of two numbers: the first refers to the level of protection against dust, the second refers to protection against water. This light is designed with IP65 protection: this means it provides protection against low-pressure water jets. It is a higher level of protection than IP44 and is usually used when the luminaires are close to the ground or more protection is required due to certain external conditions.
